Alumna Testimony
“Through IAU, I had the opportunity to volunteer at Collège Saint-Eutrope, a middle school in Aix-en-Provence where I lead an English speaking club once a week. It was great to get involved in the community, and it definitely made Aix feel more like home. I loved playing games with the kids and seeing how enthusiastic they were about learning a new language. One of the student’s parents even hired me to tutor her daughter once a week. My experience has inspired me to potentially return to France after graduation to teach English. I would encourage anyone at IAU to get more involved in the community, whether through volunteering, sports clubs, or other ways. Meeting locals and seeing more of this incredible city is a great way to enrich your study abroad experience.”
