Getting to Aix TGV Station & Marseille-Provence Airport

Note: The train station inside the city is NOT the Aix TGV Station.

La Gare Routière – Bus Line 40

The best (cheapest) way to get to the TGV Station or the Marseille-Provence Airport is through the Gare Routière. Visit the website or find it on Google Maps (Avenue de l’Europe).

To arrive at the TGV Station or MRS Airport, head to platform 11 and wait for bus 40 to arrive and for the driver to open the doors. The first stop will be the TGV Station, and the second and final stop (the terminus) will be the airport. Please be aware that you will need to deposit any luggage larger than your backpack in the undercarriage of the bus. If you are travelling to the airport, also be aware that adjacent buses may only head toward the TGV station. Buses leave about every 30 minutes. Find it on the website or see the schedule in greater detail.

Approximate trip time: 20 minutes to TGV station, 30 minutes to airport
