Café Med

Open Mondays-Fridays from 9h00 until 15h00

Café Med is located across from the Cathédrale Saint Sauveur nearby Manning Hall, CEF and Building 27. It is the ACM-IAU cafeteria exclusively for our faculty and students. There is WiFi, coffee, soft drinks, salads and sandwiches. There are a number of events here throughout the semester from wine tastings and cooking classes to the weekly Queer Coffee Hour.

There are a variety of cold soft drinks, as well as coffee, and tea. To eat there are sandwiches, paninis, and salads (the french fries are the best in Aix) and each day chef Jean prepares a different Plat du Jour.

Cooking Classes

Cooking classes are held here throughout the semester. They are run by Chef Jean in French (with a translator if needed,) Chef Jean will lead you as you cook a Provencal recipe. You will leave well fed and with a new recipe to take home.
